About Mahnaz

Mahnaz is committed to guiding individuals, couples, and families as they tackle life’s challenges. She has a unique multicultural background which enriches her approach, allowing her to offer care that respects and values each person’s unique experiences. Mahnaz specializes in adapting methods to fit each client’s needs, recognizing the client as the expert of their own life.

Her practice is rooted in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to addressing your therapeutic needs. She uses evidence-based therapies to address trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more. This includes EMDR, where her and her clients work together to address and transform the impact of past and current trauma. This fosters resilience and empowers clients to navigate life’s obstacles with greater ease. Other modalities she utilizes include, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based, Trauma-Informed, & Gottman for couples. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College.

As a mother, sister, and friend, she values meaningful relationships and personal growth. Raised by first-generation Muslim-Indian American parents, Mahnaz learned the value of hard work and perseverance. She’s mom & mentor to her two sons who inspire her daily. Her furry companion, friends, and family bring joy and laughter to her life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach, and playing pickleball.
