About Heather
Heather offers a warm, compassionate, and client-centered space for individuals, couples, and families, grounded in trust, emotional safety, and non-judgment. She tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique goals, providing integrative, personalized care that supports holistic wellness and meaningful personal growth. Her work is rooted in a deep commitment to fostering healing, resilience, and authentic connection through mindful, individualized support.
She draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as existential, humanistic, and person-centered approaches. Heather is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma work and has completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy.
Heather is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Intern. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College, where she also earned a certificate in Family and Relationship Therapy.
Outside of her professional life, Heather finds joy in creating meaningful experiences with her three sons. She enjoys making homemade pasta, trying new recipes, and traveling both locally & internationally. You can often find her spending quality time playing cards and board games with her family. Heather is also deeply committed to community service and actively volunteers with local organizations that support individuals and families experiencing homelessness and other challenges.
