About Ace

Hello, I am Ace! I am a passionate and dedicated therapist whose primary goal is to create a welcoming, empowering, and inclusive space for individuals from any walk of life navigating life’s many challenges. I am passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent individuals, people of color, and other marginalized populations through a culturally sensitive, affirming approach.

I have a particular passion for working with youth and young adults as they explore identity, self-discovery, and personal growth. I am able to see teenagers aged 14 and up. However, I am also committed to walking alongside anyone ready to begin their therapeutic journey, regardless of age or background. I offer a space free of any judgment.

My therapeutic style is grounded in cultural humility and shaped by elements of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and a person-centered approach. With a strong foundation in behavioral health, I graduated cum laude from the University ofFlorida with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and later completed my Master’s inSocial Work at the University of North Florida. As the first woman in my family to earn a college degree, I bring a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding family dynamics, generational experiences, and higher education.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy binge-watching favorite shows, movie marathons, and gaming on my Nintendo Switch. I especially cherish time with my clever Australian Shepherd, Alucard. I live by the belief that there’s very little in life that can’t be made better with a soft-serve ice cream.
