Lourdes is passionate about creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their inner thoughts and move toward discovering their true selves. She is dedicated to supporting clients on their healing journey in the face of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other unexpected stressors. Lourdes utilizes an integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-based interventions, Internal Family Systems, and Expressive Arts to tailor therapeutic interventions to meet each client’s unique needs. Lourdes strives to empower clients to achieve personal growth and a sense of fulfillment by helping clients overcome challenges and discover their inner resilience.
Lourdes, born in Miami, Florida to immigrant parents from Cuba and Venezuela, is bilingual and uses a multicultural approach to honor her clients’ cultural identities. Lourdes graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Behavioral Forensics Certificate. Lourdes chose to pursue her aspirations in the mental health field and graduated from Rollins College with a master’s in arts in Mental Health Counseling.
During her free time, Lourdes finds joy in making new memories with her family and friends. Torelax, Lourdes immerses herself in reading or indulges in watching shows and movies.
