President and Director of Therapeutic Services
Not Accepting New Clients
Alexis cares deeply about working with clients who have anxiety, relationship issues, and/or trauma. In couples therapy, she addresses communication issues, intimacy, infidelity, betrayal, and relationship satisfaction. Her approach to therapy is integrated, trauma-informed, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Theoretically, she uses attachment theory, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and behavioral therapies (CBT, ACT, and DBT) to help clients find peace and reach their goals.
Alexis received her master’s in clinical social work from Florida State University in 2015. She is a licensed clinical social worker and qualified supervisor in the state of Florida. Alexis has also furthered her education by receiving special training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and the Gottman Method couples therapy.
In her spare time, she enjoys learning about health, meditation, and the mind-body connection. She also enjoys working out and spending time with her partner and 3 dogs.
