About Emily

Emily is committed to walking alongside clients as they grow more attuned to their inner world, the experiences that have shaped them, and the future they hope to build. She strives to create a space filled with compassion and sincerity for individuals to feel heard, valued, and safe to show up as they are. Her style is collaborative and grounded, guiding clients toward greater self-understanding and empowerment to build a life that feels more aligned with their values.

Taking an eclectic approach to therapy, Emily pulls from person-centered, relational cultural, narrative, experiential, and mindfulness-based therapies. She works from a trauma-informed lens and believes people’s internal experiences are heavily shaped by their relationships, environment, and broader social contexts.

Emily earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Concentration in Family and Relationship Therapy from Rollins College. She previously graduated from the University of Florida with Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Women’s Studies. Her clinical internship provided robust training in addressing diverse mental health concerns for individuals, groups, couples, and families across all stages of life.

Additionally, Emily has completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and is completing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).

Beyond the therapy room, Emily is an avid traveler with a deep appreciation for cultural immersion. She enjoys exploring new countries and traditions that broaden her understanding of the many ways people live and connect. She also finds joy through mind-body practices like yoga and grounding in nature through hiking and kayaking.
