About Courtney

Courtney is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful connections with themselves and others. She offers a safe, nonjudgmental space for adolescents, adults, couples, and families to explore concerns surrounding trauma, depression, anxiety, neurodivergence, identity, and life transitions. She also specializes in supporting first responders through the unique stressors and experiences of their work. Courtney’s style is collaborative and grounded in curiosity and cultural humility, guiding clients to take an active role in shaping their goals and therapeutic journey. She proudly provides an affirming, welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals and diverse relationship dynamics.

Taking an integrative and systems-oriented approach to care, Courtney draws from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. She works from a trauma-informed lens and emphasizes how a person's relationships, environment, and lived experiences shape their path toward healing and self-understanding.

Courtney earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling along with a Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Rollins College. She holds her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, Courtney is EMDR-trained and has completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She views therapy as an opportunity for clients to come home to themselves with greater clarity and self-compassion.

Beyond the therapy room, Courtney loves spending quality time with her husband, two children, and their dog, Hagrid. She enjoys visiting the beach, reading, baking with her family, gaming, tending to her houseplant collection, and traveling to new places whenever she can.
